Passport Application Procedures & Fees

Kindly note that the costs of the various services rendered by the consular section of this Embassy have changed since September 1st, 2010.
Kindly contact the Embassy of Paraguay in Ottawa at 613 567 1283 from Monday thru Friday and from 930 am to noon and from 130 pm to 4 pm. Please note that we only accept Money Orders or Bank drafts in US currency and payable to Embassy of Paraguay.
New Passport Applications
To apply for a new passport:

Complete and fax a passport application form which you can obtain from the embassy,
or download here:

Contact the embassy by e-mail or telephone two weeks after sending your passport application to inquire
if your passport request has been approved.

Upon approval from the embassy, schedule an appointment and bring the following documents and fees:
- 2 recent 5x7 cms, white background photos.
- Paraguay's I.D. (Cédula de Identidad) or expired passport.
